What a total-blend weight discloses, what it doesn't, and how to evaluate one fairly.
A proprietary blend is one of the more misunderstood terms on a supplement label. Here's what it actually tells you, and what it leaves out.
JellyFil's label states an 82mg total blend, equivalent to roughly 567mg of dry powders once you account for how concentrated extracts work. That total is real information — it tells you the blend isn't trivially small.
What the label doesn't break out is how that 82mg splits across the eight non-caffeine ingredients. Caffeine is the exception, listed separately at 5mg — the rest share the remaining total in an unstated ratio, typically weighted toward whichever ingredient is listed first.
Ingredients are generally listed in descending order by amount, which is why Muira Puama leading the list is a meaningful detail even without an exact milligram figure next to it.
You can confirm every ingredient's identity, the total blend weight, the manufacturing standard, and the guarantee terms — all real, checkable claims even without individual dosing.
